Google Cloud

What is Google Cloud?

Google has been the preferred place to search for content on the internet for over 20 years, and the company has invested enormous resources in creating a platform which is optimised to do just that. This has also led to the establishment of many new services which are now available on Google Cloud Platform (GCP). GCP is a suite of cloud services which run on the same infrastructure that Google uses internally for its end-user products, such as Search, Gmail and YouTube.

In addition to a suite of management tools, GCP includes a variety of services in the form of modules, including computing power, storage, data analysis and Machine learning. In particular, Google is at the forefront of artificial intelligence and data interpretation. Through GCP, Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS), Platform as a Service (PaaS) and various other cloud-based data services are also offered. GCP is part of Google Cloud, which also includes services such as G Suite, business versions of Android and Chrome OS, APIs for Machine learning, and map services.
