What does a typical workday look like to you?

I am part of the data and integration team at Cegal in Denmark. My workday often starts with a status meeting where we review all current and upcoming tasks in our projects. We set specific timelines that we work to deliver on. In addition, we collect all necessary information to complete the deliveries.

What projects do you typically work on?

I am currently working on a project for a large Danish insurance company, where I am part of a Data Warehouse project.

The project is about RSA program merging between two insurance companies. I am thus working on the RSA data track, which is about merging data into the insurance company's Enterprise Data Warehouse.

Which technologies do you work with?

Generally I have worked mostly with Data Warehouse technologies and here in Cegal I work specifically with Oracle and SQL.

Is there anything else we should know about you?

My family and I moved from India to Denmark in 2021, which was a very difficult decision for us, but we had a desire to explore all the beautiful things here in Denmark. We love to travel and experience new places, and Denmark was an obvious opportunity. We are very happy to be here and it is nice to be in Denmark among so many wonderful people. I have not started learning Danish yet, but will start soon.

In addition, I really like to spend my time with family. When I have the time for it, I also like to draw sketches and take photos.
