Cegal enters into a major strategic agreement with Å Energi to provide IT operations services to one of Norway's largest power companies over the next five years. In tough competition with Norway's largest IT suppliers, Cegal's industry expertise was decisive.

Cegal has been chosen as the new IT operations partner for Å Energi after an extensive and thorough tender process that began in the summer of 2024. The agreement makes Cegal a key digitization advisor and technology partner for a leading player in the Norwegian power industry.

- We have placed great emphasis on standardization, security, cost-effectiveness and a delivery model that supports our future development.

The agreement with Cegal means that we get a technology partner with solid domain knowledge and the ability to deliver at both strategic, tactical and operational levels.

Cetegra, Cegal's proprietary cloud platform, which is specially adapted to the energy industry, is an important part of the delivery. Cetegra streamlines the digital workday for employees by gathering relevant applications and work processes in one place. The platform is vendor-neutral and puts the user in focus, while ensuring IT security and providing cost-effective IT administration.

- Cetegra has delivered great value to global energy companies for a number of years. Together with Å Energi, we will continue to develop Cetegra so that the platform provides even greater value for the power and renewables industry in Norway, says Dagfinn Ringås, CEO of Cegal.
