Cegal invites Natteravnene to join Energistafetten 2025
Cegal is happy to invite Natteravnene® in Stavanger to the energy relay event Energistafetten taking place on Saturday, May 24.
The energy relay run Energistafetten is organized by the Corporate Sports Association in Rogaland and inspired by the Holmenkoll relay in Oslo and the GO CRAZY atmosphere of the Tour de France. This year will see a record number of teams participating on the 14km run, starting and ending at Stavanger Forum. Like the previous years, Cegal is sponsoring the event and first interchange of the 10 total stages of the race, 1450 meters along the beautiful Mosvatnet lake.
This year, Cegal got the opportunity to invite an organization to join the event in Stavanger and chose Natteravnene, an organization by Kirkens Bymisjon (church city mission) working close to Cegal’s value of being inclusive and creating places where everyone belongs.
Natteravnene, or Night Ravens in English, is an organization that works to make city centres and neighbourhoods safe places for everyone. First established in Oslo in 1990, nowadays thousands of volunteers across Norway walk around the local area in small teams in the evening and at night. The job of the Night Ravens is to be visible and accessible for children, teenagers and anyone out in the city, based on the idea that this it itself helps assuage violence and vandalism.

The Night ravens are made up of parents, singles, pensioners, young people – all kinds of people with one thing in common: they care about society. Many groups are organized through youth schools, districts or volunteer centres.
“We are so happy that Natteravnene will join us at Energistafetten and look forward to a fantastic day of run and fun!”, says Birgitte Meling from Cegal.
The joy was great in the team when we were told that you are supporting us again this year. We really appreciate you sponsoring a team for us. This is a great thing to do as a team, it strengthens the community, belonging and team spirit. Thank you for the gesture and for cheering us on!
says Hege Kverneng from Natteravnene Stavanger.
