Cegal divests Cegal Finans and ePortal

Cegal divests Cegal Finans and transfer ownership of the ePortal product to Cegal Finans. The employees of Cegal Finans, along with their partner JHL AS, have entered into an agreement to purchase the company and the company will after the transaction be called Konti AS.  

The employees of Konti AS have the necessary professional and technical competence to develop and modernize ePortal, as well as to maintain the customer base of the accounting firm. The new company will be led by Nadia Deveci and Reidun Moen as co-CEOs starting on 1 April 2023. 

Cegal Finans provides accounting services to a wide range of customers in various industries across Norway. Additionally, the company has the industry product ePortal, which is used by customers in the power industry. Konti AS will continue to be located in Ølen, Haugesund, and Stord after the transaction. During the transition period, the companies will work closely to ensure a seamless transfer of ownership of ePortal and the continued operation of the company. 

The divestment is part of Cegal's strategy to build an extraordinary technology company that enables a more sustainable future. Cegal will continue to deliver industrial software, consulting services, and cloud solutions from Haugesund and Stord after the transaction.
