What does a typical workday look like to you?

Before I head to work, I like to start the day with exercise. It always gives me good energy for the rest of the day. It's also where I get good ideas and inspiration for new sales methods or approaches for potential new leads.

At work, no days are alike. I spend a lot of time on the phone with existing and potential customers, as well as in physical and online customer meetings. Additionally, I devote a significant portion of my time to identifying potential customers through lead generation and prospecting.

Which technologies do you work with?

I am a salesperson, so I don't work directly with all the technologies, but my area of responsibility mainly lies within Oracle databases, cloud services, and infrastructure. My goal is to help our customers understand how these technologies can address their challenges and strengthen their business objectives.

What drives you at work and in your role, what's fun?

I am incredibly motivated by helping our customers make the most of their applications and infrastructure. I enjoy contributing to demystifying the journey to the cloud, which can seem daunting and uncertain to many. My role allows me to guide our customers and help them understand what the journey to the cloud entails. It's great to be part of a project from the first phone call to when the contract is signed.

It's a rewarding feeling to know that our work has a positive impact on our customers' business and contributes to their success.

Overall, I am motivated by helping our customers unlock resources and see the value we provide.

You are an active user on LinkedIn and are seen as an unofficial brand ambassador for Cegal. Can you tell us more about that?

Yes, I believe it's important to convey the story of who Cegal is, both as a workplace, our internal values, and the value we create for our customers. I use LinkedIn actively for this purpose, as well as to maintain my professional network. On LinkedIn, I also naturally invest time in engaging with Cegal's corporate content. I am especially proud to have been named the Social Media brand ambassador of the month for June 2023.

What is the best thing about working in Cegal?

I am very pleased with the significant flexibility I have in my work and the ability to plan my workday myself. It gives me the freedom to balance work and personal life, which I truly appreciate. There are excellent opportunities for personal and professional development through my job. I previously worked for Oracle, and now I enjoy working with a new approach, but still with a focus on technology. As a partner, I have the opportunity to be the customer's "trusted advisor" and show them the value of the services we offer our customers.

What`s your favorite podcast?

I don't listen to many podcasts, but I occasionally listen to Morten Münster's podcast: "Adfærd." I prefer the Blinkist app, where I can get summaries of the key points from a book in 15 minutes. I use it to listen to many sales books and books on personal development.

We are all chasing dollars, but the currency is time
