We want to show some of our employees through what we’ve called #MeetOurTeam. Meet Henrik!
Years in Cegal:
Director Cloud Products
In the product portfolios, we get the opportunity to work very broadly in the organization. Some people call product leadership a “product CEO”, and that means that you are responsible for all parts of your product. This means that we work very interdisciplinary between marketing, sales, customers, and technological disciplines. This means that we have a versatile and exciting workday that always offers new challenges!
Product development is first and foremost about understanding customers' problems and creating solutions to these problems. Therefore, the team works with customer interviews, sales, and realization of products. It is a versatile and exciting field that always offers new challenges.
I love thinking about the value we can create by solving our customers' problems. Technology is often the key! In my portfolio, we solve a lot of customer problems with cloud technology. This is a versatile portfolio where you visit everything from security, software development, infrastructure, and cloud technology. Our latest platform ensures that our customers' employees can interact more efficiently across different solutions and platforms, while at the same time reducing emissions using technology. Such tasks are incredibly exciting to work with, and we are lucky to have such innovative and future-oriented customers who are constantly helping to move the line on what is possible to achieve with innovation.
To create products from ideas and being part of a journey in a company that’s growing. I love working with people and technology!
The culture! At Cegal, we dare to go to great lengths for our customers. We are brave in how we dare to sit on the edge of our comfort zone and lifting each other up and forward.
Philosophize This! Listening to the views of famous philosophers from all corners of the world and cultures contributes to a different perspective on the world, which one would not normally get. Incredibly interesting!
I listen and read a lot related to subjects such as product development, innovation, and technology. It is very rewarding to get impulses meant for the other half of the brain.
A quote that I like is from philosopher and pessimist Emil Cioran. At first glance the quote appears dark and pessimistic but is in fact in its ironic way the complete opposite, which sheds light on how to find something positive in every situation.

I have many different interests and I often jump from stone to stone. Diving, free diving, fly fishing, hunting and golf, but the interest that most people don’t know about me is my love for bonsai trees. I am very fond of meditation and yoga, there is something spiritual about being able to disconnect from the world with a little tree😊
