The new location in Kuala Lumpur will strengthen Cegal’s presence and develop relationships with clients, enabling us to support the growing need for digital transformation in Malaysia and other Southeast Asian nations. The office in Kuala Lumpur will be dedicated to extending the product and service offerings to clients of this region with an operational service desk team to expand Cegal's world-class service and support.
Last week the Royal Norwegian Embassy attended the official opening event, glad to see the Norwegian business presence in the region increasing and to welcome Cegal as a Norwegian global provider of technology solutions in Kuala Lumpur.
Kris Hopstaken, Sales Manager for the Cegal Malaysia office says: “A key goal for the Kuala Lumpur office will be to help companies in defining their digital strategy. After years of traveling from Cegal’s office in Dubai to Southeast Asia, it is great to see digitalization being high on the agenda with E&P companies. With a wide variation of data regulations, there is no such thing as a ‘one size fits all’ solution. This is where Cegal comes in, as a vendor-agnostic partner, bringing 20 years' experience delivering global IT & cloud solutions tailored for the complex petrotechnical landscape.”
