The consultancy department in Cegal comprises 35 skilled consultants who work in 4 main fields:

-OPERATIONAL ASSIGNMENTS – long-term contracts at customer locations.
Many of our customers require consultants on long-term contracts. Our consultants have substantial experience in operations and support, as well as assignments involving systems, installations, and upgrading of systems and solutions.
The consultants often function as members of the customer’s operations team or Service Desk, although our consultants often take on the role of Operations Supervisor, Operations Manager, or Head of IT.

- TOP-LEVEL COMPETENCE – experts from Cegal
When you require top-level competence in your IT department. We presently have staff working within the specific fields of Windows server, VMWare, Citrix, Linux, networks (Cisco), and development (Biztalk).

- PROJECT MANAGEMENT and project assignments
Do you need skilled professionals for your IT project? Our consultants take on projects assignments, and have extensive experience in project management in both large and small projects. We also have experience with changer for our ASP-customers. Cegal can also assist with advisory services where experienced consultants provide help in choosing solutions and technology.

-ONSITE – operation and support of ASP solutions
The consultants in this group work mainly with On Site assignments, most frequently with our ASP customers. There, the consultants contribute by solving ad hoc tasks which come in via our Service Desk, however, the department also has regular assignments that vary from a few hours a week to whole days on customers’ business premises.

Certified consultants – for your security
We have a good mix of experience and expertise in Cegal’s consultancy department. Here, both newly qualified and senior IT consultants, with up to 25 year’s experience, work side by side.

We have a strong focus on knowledge and competence, and set aside both time and resources for skills upgrading. Our consultants are encouraged to acquire certification in various fields of expertise, so that we can provide customers with documentation of our competence levels.

What distinguishes Cegal from many other IT companies, is that we are just as interested in the personal aspect as in the technological aspect. Our employees are committed to making each other excel and, not least, are committed to making our customers excel.

The social aspect is important
We are concerned with well-being and team spirit, therefore, we also have excellent inter-departmental cooperation; we have an open door between the operations department and the consultancy department. We borrow resources from one another as needed, and we also hold joint arrangements and social events in order to strengthen the team spirit.
This is especially important for consultants who spend a lot of time out at customer locations.

The consultancy department undertakes both short and long term assignments. We often observe that our consultants develop such a good relationship with the customer that the cooperation extends over several years.
